Zionism is simply Jewish nationalism. When an Indian family migrates to America and three generations later, people tell his descendants that they don't belong in America because they are "Indian", they clearly are bigoted and don't understand that America is not a country defined by race, religion, or ethnicity... we are defined by our "identity".

You can be American no matter where you came from and the fact that Native Americans occupied the land before the United States is irrelevant. Native Americans are invited to join our nation, but we are not leaving.

Jews are slightly different. but again, Israel is the mother country of their faith, their religious homeland and it always has been. If you are born Jewish, you have an unrestricted right to immigrate to Israel regardless of the ethnicity and race from which you come.

America, recognizing this is not wanting to lose many of our valuable citizens who might be torn between becoming a citizen of their religious homeland or the US, went so far as to recognize that by making Israel one of the few nations that we recognized dual citizenship for. As an American Jew, you can serve in the Israeli army.

Israelis are not "westerners", their culture is very distinct from western culture in fact they have always prided themselves as being a people apart. Moreover, Imperialism by definition suggests a mother country. the Jews have no "mother country" other than Israel and never have. Nice abuse of a “trigger word” in your post.

Let's get to the reality, arguing the Jews have no right to Israel because they are descended from people who spent hundreds of years living somewhere else, shows a lack of understanding regarding what makes Israel the land of the Jews. You may not agree with Jews, and I suspect you would not agree with China, that claims to be the government of the Chinese people wherever they reside in the world. And by definition, you should reject the claims of the Palestinian government which claims to be the government of the Palestinians including those living in other countries.

You seem mostly caught up with how Israel was returned to the Jews from the Ottoman Empire. Israel has always been the land of the Jews, but for many centuries it was occupied by imperialist from Arabia and Turkey. The source of imperialism was not westerners, but Muslim Caliphates of one sort or another.
