Many women consider abortions because they don't think they have access to health care.
Does it sound like this place offers "fake promises of assistance"? Does PP offer these services? Does it make women aware they are available?

Planned Parenthood's generates most of its "profits" from abortions even though it is a small part of what they do. They need abortions or they would lose money. How can they provide "counseling" when they have enormous financial incentives to do abortions?
I worked in health care for over 20 years. In other areas of healthcare what PP is does is illegal, since it constitutes "self referral" and would violate the "Stark" law.
Just because you support abortions, does not mean you must disparage those entities that try to provide women other choices. For years, "pro choice" people have argued people opposed to abortions are all talk... but the truth is they provide an enormous amount of support for women who choose to have their babies. This support can extend for years.
My daughter volunteered every week to baby sit young children of poor single mothers, who wanted to attend classes at night. This program was affiliated with a local pregnancy center to provide women post birth childcare.
Meanwhile, we donate to pregnancy centers to help fund prenatal care and post natal care. What kind of contributions do you make towards pregnant women... money? time? Do you really care? Or is this all ideology for you?
