Your "history" of Israel is lacking a lot of important details, and your understanding of Judaism appears even worse. Perhaps if you studied the history of both Jews and Judaism, you would better understand Zionism.

Both Islam and Judaism are religions, that for the more traditional followers have strong ties to "place". Try convincing Muslims, that Mecca could exist outside the control of an Islamic nation, if you can do that, then you might be the most persuasive person on the planet. For centuries Jews would pray "next year is Israel or Jerusalem".

Israel was not "taken" from the Palestinians, it was "returned" to the Jews to govern. Arabs and Christians continue to live in Israel making up about 75% of the population.

If you are concerned about an unjust political ideology, then why do you feel an Islamic theocracy, which is typically installed in Muslim nations would be more just? Do you think the Muslim Brotherhood was "just" when it won the election in Egypt and was ultimately overthrown by the military for their abuses. Do you think the government of Iran is "just" towards its own people?

The Jews are not leaving Israel without a fight. They have fought for that land for over 2000 years against Egyptians, Assyrians, Persians, Romans, Sea Peoples, Crusaders, Arabs, Turks, etc. Most of the time they lost, but they never stopped fighting, so to dismiss their claims to the land of Israel is wrong.

However, Israel has supported the two state solution many times, showing a willing to share the land between "two states". But the Palestinians have never been willing to accept a "two state" solution that involves the Palestinians recognizing each "state" as sovereign over the population residing in their borders. Failure to do so is a deal breaker.
