You seem to ignore that thousands of white families lost their fathers, brothers, and sons fighting to free slaves in the Civil War. That more than half the country rejected slavery at the very inception of the country. That white people participated in the underground railroad to liberate slaves at great personal risk. And that many African Americans like Obama are the children of white mothers and fathers who were slave owners and their only connection to slavery was not through some shared history of being descended from slaves. Then of course there are African Americans like my grandchildren whose mothers are from Africa (as in were born there).
So as you work hard to promote bigotry, since that is what your whole article is about since you focus on skin color... remember you are part of the problem.
MLK is a hero to me, a white guy, my wife an Asian, my children and my grandchildren (five of whom are African American). Not because he was African American, but rather he preached a special kind of American nationalism... where as Americans we would recognize each other by our shared values and the content of one another's character and not the color of our skin...
And here you are promoting discriminating on the basis of "skin color". It is like going back in time... after so much progress...
