Women who do not want to keep their babies can put them up for adoption. There are over 13 couples waiting for every newborn put up for adoption and many white couples happily take on the economic and emotional challenges of raising children, indifferent to their skin color.
Every church I have been a member of has both couples raising adopted children of other races and waiting for children of any race to be available for adoption.
The challenge for foster homes is not finding newborns to adopt but finding parents who want to adopt older children.
Sadly, smaller family sizes have done little to end the generational poverty cycle that is largely a product of poor education at the K-12 level in many African American communities.
