While I think flying immigrants to Martha's Vineyard, specifically was to raise awareness of the burden border states are experiencing due to immigration.

It is easy to ignore the crisis on the border when you don't bear the costs. If progressive liberals support Biden's border policies, they should be prepared to foot the cost.

There is an incredible cost burden associated with this massive flow of humanity on social services, schools, housing, wages, and jobs in the communities in which they reside.

Northern cities have been insulated from these costs. as well as the increase in crime by people that need to steal because there are no more jobs. Time to reconcile ideology with reality.

Regarding whether it was Trump's idea or DeSantis's idea to transport people to Martha's Vineyard, I think both can lay claim to it. But more insightful has been the "noise" from northern mayors and governors regarding the prospect of becoming "border towns" and "states". That is pretty revealing... voters in their states may be changing their views on securing border...
