When the weatherman predicts rain, he is not responsible for it raining nor is he advocating that it rain, he is predicting it will rain.

There is little doubt Democrats are targeting Trump and that pisses off people, because there is nothing the people of this country dislike more than using the power of government to go after political adversaries. If the Democrats had waited until they had all evidence (had not used the media to hold court) and simply indicted Trump, they might have made the case this was about crime, not politics.

They could have driven that point home by moving forward with indicting Hunter and perhaps indicting some of Epstein's cronies. Certainly, by now the FBI should know who they are. The question then is why Trump and not the others. Until people know why, it stinks.

In fact, absent the FBI and DOJ going after Hunter Biden and potentially Joe Biden, my guess is that this whole thing is about politics and not justice. Once 2024 is over, the whole thing will simply go away. Meanwhile, I hope voters express their anger at the ballot box and not in the streets. However, it would help if politicians from both parties stop advocating violence... whoever they are...
