When soldiers don't wear uniforms, everyone becomes a soldier. Let that sink in. Terrorists exist by using the population of a given area as human shields, unless the local population rises up to evict terrorists from their communities and neighborhoods, they become complicit in the acts of those groups.

People are not unsympathetic to the plight of the Palestinians, but absent a change of heart among the Palestinians, there is no answer to their misery. Israel was recognized by the UN in 1949, Palestine needs to accept that and work for a solution that includes that reality.
