When Kamala Harris ran for President, black voters did not support her, which is one reason she dropped out.

When Biden added her to "the ticket" after declaring he would choose a black woman as his Vice President, it was pretty clear that "race" factored into his decision. Sadly, with so many capable black women, he picked one of the least capable. Some political analysts believe he did that to himself from being replaced.

As a Californian, we have had some impressive black politicians like Willie Brown, whose politics I did not like, but whose political skill you had to admire. And of course, we have had Kamala Harris, someone who does not inspire confidence among anyone including blacks and in fact had a terrible reputation in the black community in California partially due to her decisions as California AG.

All of this points to racism is the only reason Democrats are afraid to replace Kamala Harris, not the reason they would.

If she was "white", she would have been long gone. Instead, I predict Democrats will try to "end run" Harris by choosing another black woman to replace her. Someone that will not detract from the ticket as Harris is. The person must inspire Americans that he or she can do the job of President. Harris was put in charge of the southern border... how is that going?

Americans across the board including African Americans have shown no confidence in Harris's talent. If you want to back an African American woman, there are plenty of competent black women on the left and the right to choose from, don't settle for Harris.
