What bigotry.
Specific to vaccines, one of the most under vaccinated groups for childhood diseases are the progressive liberals of Silicon Valley. Do you have the same “divide” issues with them?
Vaccines and needle sticks are two areas where both rational and irrational behaviors cause people not to make good choices. That problem exists with people who identify as liberal, progressive, conservatives, or any other political group.
Stereotyping Trump supporters is bigotry and your failure to realize this shows how acceptable it is among some people to project bigotry as long as you target the right groups. In that respect you are part of the problem with respect to the divide you are helping to build.
Having spent a career in health care the issues with vaccines often involves a distrust of government. This distrust is disproportionately felt by different groups… like African Americans and poorer rural whites in the South, but also by white upper income liberals in Silicon Valley.
This leads people to believe in conspiracy theories like vaccines cause autism in the case of childhood vaccines or the Covid vaccine poses severe risks, or government is allied with pharma to produce profits at the expense of health and vaccines do not work. Mind you Kamala Harris questioned the vaccine and citizens ability to trust the FDA last Fall and last I heard she was not a Trump supporter.
