There are no shortages of families willing to adopt a newborn baby of any race. Some Native Americans and African American organizations have insisted that couples of a baby's race be given preference but the issue is not with couples willing to adopt.
As an aside, five of my grandchildren are mixed African White children and two of my children are mixed Asian White. We prefer to identify as American rather than by skin color.
Interesting that you would think race matters... it might to some couples but not in the wider scheme of things given there are so many couples looking to adopt for every newborn put up for adopton.
In my limited experience, the only babies that are slightly more difficult to find homes for... not impossible... are babies with significant disabling birth defects and those born addicted to hard drugs. These links speak to those situations...

But skin color is not a problem at all.
