The two biggest issues facing the world today are energy security and population collapse. Meanwhile, the "woke" crowd seems far more focused on worshipping at the altar of climate change.

Fossil fuels are running low, and we need to double our energy production without sending prices through the roof. That won't happen relying on the dwindling reserves of fossil fuel. Nor will it happen betting on solar and wind energy to save us. We need to find a renewable source of "carbon fuel" and a dependable source of electricity to power the world.

To lift up the poor, we need two to three times the current energy demands (just compare average energy use of the affluent with the poor). And we need to use AI and robotics to supplement the shrinking labor force.

But instead of governments are focused on how to use climate alarmism to centralize power and population changes to justify higher taxes and greater government involvement in the economy. If humans are going to protect the human and civil rights they fought for over thousands of years, we need to constrain government. Dedicate one third of the GDP to the government to carry out all the functions of government and retain two thirds in the hands of the "businesses" that produced the goods and services that comprise GDP.

Government must use its third first and foremost to make their citizens safe. Then invest in new technologies that will replace fossil fuels and human labor as the supply of those resources dwindles and if there is anything left the remainder should be used to help those most in need through a social safety net.

Subsequent addition: I need to increase my estimated energy production from double to triple the current energy production to four to five times the current energy production. My initial estimate was based on lifting up the poor around the world to a higher standard of living than they currently enjoy. But subsequent studies I have read indicate the AI and robotics needed just to maintain our current standard of living as the labor force shrinks will energy intensive. AI is at least 10 times more consumptive of energy than simply search functions on the internet.

AI already uses as much energy as a small country. It’s only the beginning. — Vox
