The problem with Wikipedia is that it is written by people like you and me… and not update automatically when mistakes are revealed… I am not denouncing Wikipedia… I am just saying its no longer current… or accurate…

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/453384-fbis-spreadsheet-puts-a-stake-through-the-heart-of-steeles-dossier

“Investigators ultimately found Steele’s testimony credible and even surprising,” Politico crowed.”

But then under FBI investigation:

“The FBI’s own spreadsheet was so conclusive that it prompted then-FBI Director James Comey (no fan of Trump, mind you) to dismiss the document as “salacious and unverified”.

“Two years later, Mueller came to the same conclusion: Steele’s intelligence alleging a conspiracy was never verified.”

As for any crimes Trump has committed. If he is proven to have committed crimes in court like destroying evidence (oh wait that was Hillary) committing perjury (oh damn, that was Hillary again) or any other crimes and those crimes involve jail time, he should be prosecuted when he leaves office and if the crime calls for it, he should go to jail. No one, not even a Clinton or an intelligence agency director should be above the law. Don’t you agree?

As to the world view on Trump. I did not state the EU like him… they don’t. Look at what I said, then compare it to your article and I quote…

“The U.S. receives some of its highest favorability ratings in Asia. Meanwhile, half or more in four of the five Asia-Pacific nations polled view the U.S. favorably, including 83% in the Philippines and 80% in South Korea — both among the highest ratings in the study (along with 83% in Israel).”

Note, your Japanese article was written right at the time Trump was negotiating a trade deal with Japan. What would you expect? But he got a better trade deal… and do you think that was bad or good?

Here is a more targeted article on what I was saying…

Here is another article, why Southeast Asia is happy with Trump’s China policies…

https://www.scmp.com/economy/china-economy/article/3011178/us-china-trade-war-manufacturing-exodus-creating-boom-times

So do you think its good or bad for the US to diversity their supply chains across all of Asia or be overly dependent on China?

Do you think Asian countries outside of China are happy with this diversification or disappointed so many new jobs are coming to their country?

As I said, I get you don’t like Trump… but this thread was not about Trump, it was about whether the American public will find out what was really behind the spying on the Trump campaign and whether or not it was politically motivated…

What I don’t understand is why you oppose an investigation that will answer a lot of questions Americans have about the genesis of the investigation?

Do you oppose safeguarding our institutions from the corrupting influence of partisan politics?
