The "freedom" struggle?

Are you trying to say that progressive liberals support independent liberty and the right to free speech and a free press. Are you saying progressive liberals oppose federal mandates? Or the federal government determining how income should be distributed beyond just a social safety net to help the poor? Or imposing punishing carbon taxes on the poor.

I thought I was a conservative, because I believe in individual rights versus "majority rules". I believe the whole concept of politically correct speech is offensive. I believe in individuals over group identities. I don't believe in cancelling someone because they say something offensive to me.

So, if progressive liberals believe the same things, then there is no freedom struggle.
