So you think half the Democrats should be impeached since many say they felt empowered by the Democrats speech and virtual condoning of rioting this past summer?

Are you really prepared for that being the standard? If you say anything and I claim it as the basis for committing violence… are you guilty of inciting me?

Simply said, free speech especially in the area of political speech has no room for Trump being convicted of incitement without laying open the basis of virtually every politicians at some point in their career being prosecuted as such.

I don’t know how much history you have read or whether you are aware of the fiery speeches of Daniel Webster and Henry Clay that literally resulted in a “riot” within Congress as fisticuffs broke out. Or the exchange of words between Hamilton and Burr that lead to Hamilton’s death in duel with Burr.

You need to study our history… Paraphrasing what Jefferson said, no amount of hate speech is more dangerous than any form of censorship. Those who point to limits of free speech including yelling “fire” in a crowded theater are missing the point… those limits don’t and have never applied to the political speech and the expression of one’s views regarding the political situation in America.

Those Democrats and Republicans that do vote to impeach sadly be setting a precedent that will haunt this country for decades even as Trump will be acquitted as enough Senators are going to act responsibly and stop this charade…
