Seriously, it will be time to determine Trump's physical and mental fitness in two years. But shouldn't the nation be more concerned about Biden's physical and mental fitness. Trump is not President, Biden is and Putin is talking nuclear weapons! Scary...

I hope Trump stays "in the running" all the way through the end of the Republican primaries in 2024. He absorbs so much Democratic mind space, legal resources, media attention, and even funds, that other candidates get an almost free pass from the character attacks that mark Democratic politics.

Trump's time is past. But his conservative populism will endure, and it will dominate American politics for a decade or more. Meanwhile, progressive liberalism is collapsing in Europe and America as the policies are causing economies to unravel.

If Republicans run a "Trump" Republican in 2024, it will be game over for the Democrats for the next decade. Hispanics were once the rock on which Democrats were building their future dominance of US politics. But they are joining Trump's conservative populism in droves, for them the issues are wages, economic growth, and job growth.

They are not big on abortion, or gender politics, secular humanism. They don't buy into open borders and it's their neighborhoods that are getting hurt the worse from this massive wave of uncontrolled migration. They want to keep what they earn. My wife is an immigrant, she says immigrants come to America to escape corrupt government, not to be told what to do by government.

My guess is in 2024, Trump will be pardoned by the new Republican President, and he will quietly retire having almost single handedly taken on the entire Democratic "machine" and fought it to a tie.
