Religion does play a role. It creates the environment in which both men and women feel "safe" having sex and chldren. They view the relationship as a "gift" from God to be shared with one another.

Psychologists are still trying to figure out why religious people are so "into sex". But studies show they are... It is one reason, they sometimes cross the line... which is to bad.
