Read what I said in context...
"Trump will also be remembered as a bully, womanizer, braggart, and overall obnoxious individual that failed the "works well with others" requirement of politics. "
I never said that Trump never lied or that he never stole. I said he would not be "remembered " for his behavior. I used Biden as an example of a President who has lied and stole from taxpayers and for the most part people don't care. Do you think that will be Biden's legacy, I don't.
Ditto, Bill Clinton who lied facing the camera to the American people, was impeach for committing perjury and people don't care. He also collected hundreds of millions of dollars through the Clinton Foundation, by selling access to his wife, as Secretary of State. Like Trump he was a womanizer, and the Clinton's have a pretty shady past going back to the Whitewater scandal. But Bill Clinton's legacy is that he was a pretty good President.
I think Nixon is the only President I can remember whose legacy includes lying. Can you think of any other President that served prior to 1960, whose legacy was lying and stealing. My point is how Presidents get remembered changes over time and the emphasis moves away from them as individuals to the accomplishments of their administrations.
