Perhaps but living in a multi racial multinational family (my immediate family is Asian, African, African American, Asian American, White, Hispanic, and Haitian American, we simply don't see the world the way you do. Trump had the vision to see what a large segment of Americans wanted and simply put together a "platform" around those issues. Eliminating Trump or the return of Trump won't change that.

Many historians have written on the subject of whether "great men" make history or history makes "great men". The term "great man" is not a qualitative term but simply someone whose name rises above others and is identified with a movement.

The ideological struggle in the west is not about Trump vs "no Trump".

It is between 19th century Marxism, 18th century liberalism, and autocracies (the modern alternative to monarchies). How those societies are structured depends on who controls the economy and the military.

Workers have rallied to the Republican party because it has addressed issues of concern to them... including globalism (trade and immigration), crime, less taxes, and economic growth.

Democrats have embraced a form of democratic socialism where the elite dominate the party and the rank and file are comprised of the poor. They are selling a form of Nirvana where government takes care of the people and allocates the resources produced by the workers on an equity basis rather than an "earned" basis.

Pretty clear to see that conflict is not going away anytime soon. The names may change, but the game is the same.
