On the issue of health care, Florida has one of the best health care systems for the poor in the nation. The state has a relatively robust county hospital system that also serves to provide those with low incomes access to good quality affordable health care.

The network of providers in that health care system are so good that when I had a serious medical procedure and my youngest two children were born, we chose the same hospital system and providers that serve the poor. For background, I ran physician groups in Florida, so I had a pretty good idea of which hospitals were good or not good.

So, not believing in Medicare for All or that health care is right (ala "free"), is not the same as believing in making health care accessible and affordable. I think most Americans agree with that.

I think many of your predictions are on target, so this is less of criticism of your article and more a refinement.
