The majority of Americans want the country to be safer, offer greater job opportunity, better wages, and individual freedom. Trump proposed policies that might work, under Biden/Harris the country only worked for around 20-30% of Americans, that won't cut it in a democracy.

Savvy politicians realize without "the masses" supporting them their grip on power is tenuous.
