My guess is the House if it changes to Republican will lead to the largest investigation every conducted of the DOJ and FBI with subpoenas being issued like ticker tape at a parade. These weaponize agencies will be put under a microscope and I suspect they will be playing defense for the next two years.

The pursuit of Trump is reminiscent of Joseph Stalin, who said "Show me the man and I'll find you the crime". The approach does not sit well with Americans... Trump may be guilty of wrongdoing, but the majority of Americans see the relentless pursuit of Trump as wrong.

That said, I hope Democrats keep Trump from running again. Trumps movement is gaining traction with minorities especially Hispanics, who are innately conservative and attracted to Trump's conservative populism.

Meanwhile, without Trump, Republicans will regain the lost support of suburban housewives on the issue of education.

Those two groups alone will likely determine the outcome of the 2024 election and that election without Trump give the Republicans their best chance of 8-12 years in the White House. That will end all this division as America turns against progressive liberalism and gets back to fine tuning its historical embrace of classical liberalism and regulated capitalism.
