My comments reflect the history of the Russian people dating back to when the Mongols and Teutonic knights made war on the Russians. Ditto, for the Tartars, the Lithuanians, Poles, Napolean, the Britsh, French, and Turks in the Crimean War, the Germans in WW1 and 2, and various other nations over the centuries.
What has marked the Russian people is their sheer ability to endure, when other peoples would have quit. My comments are not an endorsement of their invasion of Ukraine, the crimes against humanity perpetrated by them, or Putin in any way, just an observation that given their history, the economic sanctions won't bring them to their knees... they will have to be beaten on the battlefield and the sooner we give Ukraine all the weaponry they require, the sooner this war can end.
