Let’s see, a President cannot ask a foreign leader for help gathering information about a former Vice President (that brags about coercing a foreign country using government aide as his lever to fire a government prosecutor because somehow if you declare for President you are immune from investigation… forget the fact that his son was a Board member of such foreign company). Seriously, does anyone not think this is stupid…

For the record here and now, I declare I am running for President for this and every other election until I die… so any attempt by any Federal agency to investigate me for any matter could impact my chances of getting elected and thereby violate the FEC rules. Again… Seriously…

Let’s separate the reality from wishful thinking… reality is if you brag about breaking the law (you have provided reasonable cause to investigate and the government has an obligation to investigate)… the President as chief legal officer of the country (remember the DOJ reports to him) has a right to ask for help in such investigation. Let’s call this what it is… first, Biden couldn’t keep his mouth shut… second Biden interfered with a foreign country’s judicial process where he had an obvious conflict of interest…

What you cannot do is launch a “fishing expedition” to find dirt on an opponent. You must have reasonable cause to investigate and if there is doubt over whether you had reasonable cause… then that needs to be determined first, before jumping to the conclusion that an investigation violated any campaign finance law.

Time to leave stupid at home…
