Keep in mind, NATO's enemy would be the Russians, who have been taking it on the chin against only Ukraine with US and European logistical support. Only the Russian massive superiority of numbers and control of the skies and artillery are keeping them from being pushed out of Ukraine.
US air support and anti-aircraft weapons could end Russia air superiority in days and their artillery would quickly fall victim to aerial attacks combined with ground assaults by Ukrainian forces without the "eyes" of their airforce.
Supplement Ukrainian ground forces with 100,000 NATO ground troops and Russia would by pushed out of Ukraine relatively easily.
Iraq land forces were thought to be tough and "experts" thought it could take months to defeat them especially the vaulted Iraqi Republican Guard. With huge numbers of Russian tanks, Iraq and interior lines to defend, it was thought that it would be a bloody struggle to break the army. Then they met US air power... poof!
The issue is simply the willingness to call Putin's threat of nuclear weapons and the willingness to honor our promise to defend Ukraine if they gave up theirs.
