It seems that because viruses are protein strings rather than living cells and are designed to enter into cells, that some viruses can exist indefinitely in the US body and hide from our immunity system. That is true of HIV, the Chicken Pox virus and many others.

As humans are bodies are designed to last a lifetime, not forever. Hopefully, the Covid virus, won't damage our brains enough to impact the quality of that lifetime.
