Isn't regulated capitalism that. At its core, capitalism harnesses the power of greed by rewarding people with stuff, who create stuff. And if you create enough stuff and work your ass off like I did, you get to retire like I did at 48 (though in my case, it was when my defective heart said it was time to retire, and my wallet said I could).

The "regulatory" component is to but some guardrails around a system built on greed to prevent abuse.
