In about 12-16 weeks the Ukrainian army will have been trained to use the much more advanced weapons being sent to it. My guess is this spring it will launch several offensives that will leave large parts of the Russian army isolated and incapable of being resupplied.

If you believe as most military exerts do, that logistics wins wars, then Russia is toast. As more and more of its army is unable to get supplied while the Ukrainian logistical system is becoming better (initially it was difficult, since Ukraine was not well trained to use western weapons), I suspect Russia is in trouble.

Russia has far less available manpower to deploy as its largely army needs to be spread over not just the Ukrainian front, but all other NATO fronts and the Chinese border. Regarding Russia's army, it two most elite divisions were crushed last year, weakening its offensive capabilities.

Actually, if Russia were doing so well it would invite more journalists to witness how well they are doing. Instead, Russia feels compelled to control all the news coming from the front. No embedded independent journalists, just government propaganda releases that often on the face to match the facts.
