If Liz Cheney switches parties and joins the Democrats, she could make a reasonable moderate candidate for the Democratic party.

Democrats are desperately in need of moderate candidates in conservative states, or they will never win in those states and remain a coastal party. Presently, of the 220 Democrats n the House around two thirds are from coastal states and the percentage is likely to go up this November.
