I worked with the government for a good part of career, including helping to write legislation for state senators, lobbying at the state and federal level with Secretary of Agencies and Congressional representatives, employing lobbyists and working with Federal agencies including CMS and the DOD administering government contracts.
I also had an ex-governor of Indiana and Secretary of Health and Human Services on my Board advising us on how government works. So, I think I have a feel for how government works.
