I think you missed the point of the “unemployment” comment.

It was in defense of American workers. The original thread predicted America’s collapse and it suggested people realized they could simply quit working. I argued that people were in fact returning to work.

I excluded progressive liberal states because they have much higher unemployment levels than “red” states and lag “red” states employment recovery. But I don’t believe that is because workers in those states are less willing to work, but because progressive liberal policies in those states have undermined the jobs recovery in those states.

By contrasting the country excluding red states with pre pandemic levels, you can see workers have in fact “gone back to work” except where progressive liberal policies have interfered with that.

See the chart below to see how each state compares to its pre pandemic employment level.

So, I fail to see how standing up for American workers is somehow biased.
