I think you have gone over the edge... If you are not careful, you will become labeled as chicken little.

The GOP wants the opposite of a totalitarian fascist America.

It was not the GOP that wanted totalitarian mandates imposed on restaurant closures, church closures, vaccinations...

It was not the GOP that wants to take more money from the pockets of middle-class Americans to fund government.

It was not the GOP, that wanted to hire more than 80,000 IRS agents to monitor the finances of every American.

It was not the GOP, that proposed packing the Supreme Court and eliminating the filibuster.

Anyone that values individual freedom, needs to vote Republican this November. If you favor majority rules mob coercion and the economic system that is unraveling in Europe vote Democratic.

To be clear, most Democrats I know are good people and actually want what Republicans want, which is why so many of them are going to vote Republican this November. They are not converting to Republicans, but rather they want the old Democratic party back, the party of JFK and Bill Clinton. They protested the type of government progressive liberals are trying to impose on America. They want to decide what is good for them, not some elitists in Washington deciding.

You are right regarding your point that Biden's agenda is at risk. If you think your life has gotten better under Biden, then vote Democrat, but if you are among the 90% of Americans whose standard of living has gone down under Biden, vote Republican.

As a conservative classical liberal born again Christian, I support human rights and equal civil rights for gays, women, all races, religions, adults, seniors, and unborn babies. You cannot deny rights to one human without opening the door to denying rights to all.

There are times when the rights of humans conflict. Abortion being such a case. When that occurs, our society should never disregard the rights of one human for another, but anguish over a compromise and then incorporate that compromise in the rule of law.

Today, that compromise seems to be heading towards elective abortions up to 15 weeks. I would rather see less, but a democracy is not about getting your own way, no matter how much noise you make. With 72% of Americans and even a higher percentage of women wanting the elective abortion cut-off at 15 weeks, it is clear Americans want to preserve elective abortions, but limit them.

Fearmongering won't make our country better or safer, but rational people coming together making their positions clear and seeking bipartisan compromise will. If there were one thing I would change, it would be any legislation passed in Congress must garner at least 10% of the vote from both parties in addition to a majority vote. Forcing bipartisanship is the only way to prevent the fascist like behavior of the last 18 months, where the desires of half the country are totally ignored.
