I think Trump's time in the sun has passed.

Nothing would strengthen the Republican party's chances of winning in 2024, then if Biden ran again and Trump did not. Media will attack whoever the Republican nominee is, but I think America is sick of the perpetual racist, Nazi, misogynist labels the media throws around like they the tags were a Black Friday special.

America is ready for younger leadership with less baggage than both Biden and Trump have. If Republicans are successful at uncovering the degree to which Biden sold influence to enrich his family the smell of corruption will truly test whether Democrats really care about integrity as they have claimed.

Trump changed the Republican party in such a way that workers are joining the GOP while the wealthy flock to the Dems. Who would have thought?
