I think Condoleezza Rice would make an excellent President and I would certainly vote for her, regardless of whether she was a black woman or if she were a white male and even if she ran as a Democrat against Trump.
She is one bright talented human being that happens also to be a black woman with a deep knowledge of foreign affairs. Her last decade around her fellow scholars at the Hoover Institute has given access to some of the leading thinkers in our country including two of the leading African American thinkers besides herself.
Kamala Harris has not done anything similar with respect to impressing voters with her intellect. While she is ambitious (and there is nothing wrong with that), she really has not accomplished much.
It is always worth asking a reciprocal question. If Kamala Harris were a white Republican male, why would you vote for her?
If a person's skin, gender, and party is determining your vote, then that person lacks what it takes to be President.
As for white male Republicans, you can't get any deeper South than South Carolina, and they lined up and elected Tim Scott as their Senator. Turns out when it comes to electing people, they want to know what that person intends to accomplish if elected, Tim Scott impressed them.
So, what do you think Kamala would do to tame inflation, reduce government spending, minimize involvement in foreign wars, control the border, reduce crime, and the issues of our day. Your piece focuses on her skin color and her gender, that is a poor reason to elect someone to run our country.
