I think Alex Jones will be forced to start a new enterprise to earn a living, so it is unlikely he will go away.

He will as you suggest threaten to file for bankruptcy and depending on how asset protected, he is, he may choose to go through bankruptcy rather than negotiate.

Either way, he may not suffer much financial loss. I have seen people with over a hundred million dollars go through bankruptcy and keep most of their wealth because it was asset protected.

Now comes the phase when both side's lawyers quietly negotiate the best deal possible for their respective clients and take 30% for themselves from what the plaintiffs get and the defense attorneys will also take their substantial fees.

My comments are purely speculation based on having seen how many similar lawsuits played out when spectacular awards were later reduced to amounts that have a chance of getting paid.
