I must say the willingness of the liberals to attack the President’s family and use comparison’s like this merely reduce them to sad individuals in need of pity. I wish for once they would focus on intelligent discourse. The way they attack Trump makes them sound paranoid and crazy…

Perhaps Congress is waking up to this as I heard some of that in the bipartisan White House meeting held by Trump with Republicans and Democrats on immigration talk about the potential of real immigration reform.

I sense enough Republicans were very supportive of immigration reform even a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants without criminal records in this country in exchange for tougher border security including funding the wall, the elimination of chain immigration, and a movement toward merit based immigration… Without that there is no way they can go back to their voters and say they represented their interests.

The funding for “the Wall” is not a fiscal issue though Democrats have tried to paint it as such, since nearly every study suggests reduce illegal immigration will more than offset through lower government entitlement costs associated with illegal immigration the cost of “the Wall”.

So it has become a symbolic ideological issue and I think its time to park the ideology and if those responsible for Border Security say they need it… give it to them… as an aside, they said they need it…

So stop with the snarky stupid personal attacks on the President, go on line and tell your representatives that you want real immigration reform that starts with a permanent resolution for the DACA immigrants and border security funding including the wall and ends with immigration reform that leads to a path to citizenship for the majority of illegal immigrants in this country. Tell them compromise is not a dirty word…
