I always kid my daughter, who wants to be a doctor, that I have spent over $300,000 on her college education and most likely it will cost another $200,000 before she is done with medical school. So if she ever gets married, she can choose whatever last name she wants away from work… but at work it will be Doctor Schundler… (unless her husband wants to reimburse me for her education)
