Funny how you can twist something into what its not. As a Republican, I totally reject this racist as do any real Republicans (those who support the party platform). Here is word for word, the position of the Republican party in my state...

CONDEMNATION OF RACISM AND ACTS OF VIOLENCE

The California Republican Party condemns racism, xenophobia, religious intolerance, ethnic nationalism and white supremacy as antithetical to the fundamental values of the United States of America, and the Republican Party also condemns acts of violence committed in the name of racism, xenophobia, religious intolerance, ethnic nationalism or white supremacy.

It seems for years we have rejected the idea of using race to describe a criminal. So if an African American commits a crime, highlighting his race would be "racist". By highlighting race it infers "race" mattered with regard to the criminal act.

But here you are applying the same kind of discrimination to a criminal infering that somehow his party affiliation makes him a "hero" when in fact, he is an asshole and antithetical to the beliefs of the Republican party. I want you to take a moment and look in the mirror and say, "I am a bigot, I need to change."

As an aside, the ahole in your story has a record of domestic violence... and no it is not part of the Republican party platform to beat your wife. Get real... try to be less devisive... unless division is your goal at which point you might join the ranks of jerks trying to get this country to tear itself apart.
