For years Democrats supported an investigation largely based on a phony dossier paid for by the DNC and used by the Federal government to spy on a Republican running for election. Worse the document was presented to a court without it being verified. We as a country need to understand what allowed this incredible abuse to occur.
The faith of millions of Americans in our country’s intelligence agencies has been compromised by the behavior of various heads of various agencies acting to undermine the legitimacy of an American President. Love him or hate him, that is terrible precedence. The only way to regain trust and faith in those agencies is for it to become clear how this could happen, what controls if any failed, and what if anything should be done to prevent such actions in the future. In addition, someone needs to go to jail.
My only comment to Richard below me is that my wife is Chinese from Indonesia and her family thinks Trump is the first President that they have respected in over twenty years. They are counting on the US to do something to stop China from steamrolling Asia. So I have no idea where you are getting your information from, but many people in Asia have incredible respect for Trump. Contrast that with Obama, where the Chinese insulted Obama and our country when they failed to roll out the red carpet for him in China… a clear message to Asia that the US was no longer worthy of respect. Trump has reversed that impression… you might not like Trump… that is fine… but Asia respects him… and that is more important…
