First of all, it is good to see you condemning the Democrats behavior over the last four years since they did precisely what you are accusing Republicans of doing. You should have been expressing these concerns four years ago. But I am glad you finally came out against their behavior and hopefully you will continue to condemn their cancel culture policies in the future.
Regarding Biden, the more vindictive Democrats behave the more they will strengthen and consolidate resistance to progressive liberalism. Biden could deflate most opposition to him by simply calling for a thorough independent investigation of the election and proposing several conservatives to be in his cabinet. That would show a real desire to heal the nation... rather than talk... talk is cheap...
No one I know really cares about Joe Biden per se (other than they think he and his family abused his political position for economic gain). Like Trump, they care about what executive orders he will issue and what legislation he will promote. Why do Democrats feel compelled to treat elections as if it were a "beauty contest" rather than a policy debates? The only answer can be that their policies simply don't stand up well under a microscope.
I live in California the progressive liberal example where we largely have had one party running our state for two decades and imposing progressive liberal policies on its citizens. The result is that we have lost nearly 10% of our population as they flee the state, crime is soaring to levels no one here has seen in their lifetimes, bankruptcies are happening at distressing levels while other companies are relocating. Homelessness is up in our state even as it declines in other places. The cracks are showing up everywhere. Sadly, most people don't blame "corrupt politicians" for our problems not corrupt ideology... but they go hand in hand.
At the end of the day, the colossal failure of progressive liberal ideology is reflected in the failures wrecking California which all by itself has the 5th largest economy in the world and yet has the highest cost of living adjusted poverty rate in the nation. How can so much poverty exist... simple the income and wealth destruction of progressive liberal policies far outweigh any real benefits they promise.
What surprises me is how few people make the connection even as other progressive liberal states like New York, Connecticut and Illinois all experience the same issues. So really, the debate is not over Joe Biden... he is an empty suit... it is about the future of Americans and what policies will lead to economic growth and higher standards of living and what policies will lead to the destruction of income and wealth and translate in increasing poverty rates like we experienced in California even as the country saw decreasing poverty rates prior to the pandemic.
