As a male, I had to laugh.

I notice many items of women's fashion have little logic to them. But then the same is true of men's clothing. If you want to get an idea how "fashion" works.

Look at men's ties. Originally, designed as "napkins" to protect expensive shirts, they mutated into a fashion statement. Since only the wealthy could afford expensive ties to protect their shirts.

Now let's look at masks during Covid. Originally, they were simply mono colored face coverings. But in no time, people were buying masks that expressed their sense of style.

Both ties and masks surrendered to fashion... and so have women's jean pockets and other fashion accessories. Now while you are mocking fashion... ask yourself, why do people especially women pay more for jeans with "holes" in them. What is "the message"? Why do women that never set foot in a gym, where athletic wear? Ditto for men?

Then of course, there are women's shoes. Why do women wear shoes that damage their feet? Why do fill the pores of their face with powder to make their skin look smooth, knowing longer term the powder makes the pores bigger.

If you want clothing that works, it is available. But the last place to look is in any place selling "fashion".
