Actually, Republicans condemned the January 6th riot and want a thorough investigation of who knew what when… The Democrats want to control the investigation.

I am unaware of any state passing laws that are unreasonable requirements needed to insure election integrity. I am shocked that the media sources you rely on are hiding so much of what has been uncovered so far. No wonder you feel the way you do… you have no idea that you are the target of the “big” lie.

Any attempt to pass laws that place an unreasonable burden on voters will be deemed unconstitutional. So which law specifically do you think places an unreasonable burden on voters? Are you repeating what you read, or have you read the proposals and compared them to what most nations do? During Covid various states willingly waived laws designed to protect voter integrity as a one time thing, but learned the many problems that came from doing that.

Now when it comes to the big lie, why do you think Republicans would behave differently than Democrats did in 2016?

I am a conservative and a Republican and I believe Covid exists and I have had the Pfizer vaccine which thanks to Trump was developed in record time. So I am confused again by your misinformation. One of the big problems cited by many for not getting the vaccine is statements made by Democrats prior to the election over concerns regarding its safety… that was pretty damning and I have not heard any of them apologize and say they were wrong yet… have you?

Regarding vaccination rates, the media again is misleading you regarding who is and who is not getting the vaccine. It is true Democrats have a greater vaccination rate than Republicans… but that difference is largely due to population density… initially the government was having difficulty rolling out the vaccines to rural areas that are dominated by Republicans due to the cold storage requirements around the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines… Democrats in those same rural areas have equally low vaccination rates. This same issue has been found in Canada which suggests it has little to do with party.

My guess is eventually those parts of the country will catch up, but when you frame the problem as Republican vs Democrat, it gets the hearts pumping with self righteous Democrats. When you frame the issue as rural vs urban, it makes Biden’s administration look weak for their failure to get the vaccines into rural areas sooner…

But I am confused by vehemence of your response… either you want everyone to get tested daily or not… either you want everyone to get a cognitive test above a certain age or not… why are you making this into a political issue?
