63% of American men under 30 are not in a relationship vs 34% of women in the same age group.

The 29% differential are either "coupling" with older men (who are still interested in women or other women interested in women).

Rather than sexism or misogyny, young men simply don't care and so they are perfectly happy letting women be whoever they want to be, just leave them out of the plan. They would rather play video games, then take on the challenges of relationships and raising families.

There has always been a shortage of men, now that shortage is being magnified by the men who simply are not interested in relationships.

In contrast, the majority of women still want relationships, which is why two thirds of them are in one. However, as the next cohort of women enter their 20s, those "older" men interested in relationships will be gone. Tomorrow's "older" men are today's younger men, not seeking relationships.

And it is not just in America. My wife and I had a German student stay with us for a year. He should have been dating and going out to meet people, instead, he spent his free time in his room playing video games and texting his friends.

When I asked him why he didn't date, he simply said why would he want to do that. When I walk around town, I see "men hanging with their bros" and women handing with their "sisters".

If this trend continues, tomorrow's family will be a woman and child by way of "sperm" donor. Perhaps that will work... time will tell.
